How to choose ties
Natural silk
or
Synthetic fibre |
- Polyester ties: made of polymerized fabric
and usually stands stronger and some can be machine-washed.
- Silk Ties: made of special silk satins. The
natural soft touch and resilient texture reflect the best quality
ties. Silk ties usually cost slightly more than polyester ties
and needs more care to keep their shape and texture.
- We recommend Silk ties for their elegant
appearance for most, including formal, situations. However, polyester ties may suit
school uniforms and some casual circumstances.

Patterns
and
Finish |
- Plain silk ties are usually made of soft, smooth
satins.
- woven silk ties, in which the patterns are
formed by weaving, are thicker and heaver than plain silk ties.
- Basic patterns include plain colours, stripes,
spots and geometries. They can be printed on the ties (printed
ties) or formed by weave.
- Fashion ties are normally printed on plain
or woven silk ties with trendy patterns and designs. They will
normally change between seasons.
